January, February & March

Very little flying takes place in January due to the wet ground conditions, but why not buy a Champagne Balloon Flight Voucher as a special birthday present for use in the summer.

We start our weekend balloon flights during the third week of March.

April & May

If you already hold a voucher this is an excellent time to book your flight. In 2007 the weather was very settled and this time of year produced some beautiful ballooning weather.

June & July

Summer has hopefully arrived, although last year the weather was absolutely atrocious and we had to wait until later in the year before we were able to fly again, but hopefully 2008 will see the return of the traditional English summer.

August

The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta takes place in Ashton Court on 7th - 10th August. The famous night glows take place on the 7th and 9th. This year, rather than just watching, why not take part and book with Bristol Balloons for a fabulous hot air balloon flight.

September & October

The weather can be very settled at this time of year producing some superb ballooning weather, certainly in 2007 we did some of our most beautiful flights. October is a beautiful time to fly from Westonbirt.

November & December

We occasionally fly at this time of year, if you have a special request please do phone us. Although you may prefer to consider buying one of our flexible flight vouchers for use in 2009.
